THEN TAKING TIME OUT TO BRING UP A FAMILY WE OWNED A LOVELY STAFFIE FOR 15 YEARS. I HAVE BEEN SHOWING AKITAS UNDER THE ROMANEVE AFFIX SINCE 2001, & THE PUGS IN 2004. I ALSO HAVE CHIHUAHUA 'S AND WILL START SHOWING THEM IN 2009. ALL MY DOGS HAVE WONDERFUL TEMP'S AND ARE GOOD EXAMPLES OF THERE BREED,THEY ARE HEALTH CHECK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE KC & BVA, INCL HIPS, EYES.(AKITAS)X-RAYED HV CLEAR (PUGS) THEY HAVE ALSO BEEN USED IN FILM, TV, & FASHION SHOOTS. I have owned Akitas now for 8 years and have been showing at championship show level for most of that. We have owned boxers for 2 years. We only breed very occasionally and only when we want to keep something ourselves. All breeding stock are hip scored, eye tested and have been shown and have been placed consistantly at Championship show level. All of our dogs have excellent pedigrees boasting some of the best bloodlines in the country, and all of our beautiful dogs have fantastic temperaments.

Welcome to Katsuko Akitas We are a small show kennel based in the NW of England. We have owned dogs for over twenty years but have been showing Akitas at Championship Show level for the last three. When we where introduced to the breed it was just love at first sight. Akitas are large, powerful, alert, with much substance and heavy bone. Our dogs are pets as well as show dogs, they are raised within the home environment and surrounded by normal family life. This gives them an excellent temperament and makes them a brilliant companion. To ensure we have rounded and well behaved dogs we also attend the Kennel Clubs Good Citizen Award Classes.
